Cast Iron Skillet Cookie

Ingredients
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • *optional, top with ½-3/4 cup mini M&M's.
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Prepare pan by lining the bottom with a piece of parchment paper and lightly spraying with baking cookie spray.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
  4. Using electric mixer, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  7. Slowly (or by hand) stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Spread dough into prepared cast iron skillet.
  9. *optional, top with mini M&M's.
  10. Bake at 375* for approx. 20 minutes (until lightly golden brown and set in middle).
  11. Serve from pan topped with vanilla ice cream!
