Candied Pecans

Ingredients
  • 5-6 cups pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp cold water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger (optional)
Instructions
  1. Using a hand mixer, whisk, or emersion blender, whip egg white and water until frothy.
  2. Gradually add in vanilla, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. Stir in pecan halves until well coated.
  4. Spread onto large baking sheet.
  5. Bake 250• for 1 hour, stirring 3-4 times during baking
