I’m not sure if you all are experiencing this but the basic bacon, is for very thin. I put 2 lbs of bacon in mine and it still was hidden.

You may want to try thick cut bacon in this recipe! Just a thought…

I’ve heard that Bush’s baked beans are gluten free and some of Heinz.

This recipe IS AMAZING!! I adapted a little and used Bushs beans, and did it in the crock pot. It tasted amazing!!! A little sweet so I added some apple cider vinegar and mustard and that was perfect!!

I’m not at home to check the serving size on the bean can, but if you’re serving as a side dish, this recipe should make plenty. If you’re serving it as more of a main course, you might want to increase the recipe.
